About Me
My name is Alexis Garay, and I am currently a Senior at Texas Tech University. I am currently based in Lubbock, Texas, and my skills include writing and photography.
I primarily specialize in biased nonfiction, which primarily includes reviews and analysis of anime, manga, and movies. I have experience writing poetry, essays, research papers, strategic message planners, anything that can be considered technical writing. My camera of choice is a Canon RP.
I have experience with researching various topics through JSTOR and ebscohost, and received an Associates of Science in Spring of 2024. My current major in Texas Tech is Creative Media Industries, and my minor is in Mathematics. During the Summer of 2024, I went to study abroad trip in Ireland, where I had a crash course in Irish history and culture, alongside invaluable experience communing with other students. The trip would serve as a microcosm for me to learn how to interact in a shifting social environment.
I am a logical thinker, and heavily analytical. I wield those skills alongside my confidence in socializing, and unconventional sense of humor. I take criticism to heart.
